I will be attending the New York Comic Con on February 23-25, along with fellow Heretic creators Joseph Nassise and Chuck Satterlee. Joe, Chuck and I will be on hand to promote the 1st issue of Heretic, and give fans a preview of Heretic #2! The NY Con has shaped up to be a major meeting place of comics illuminati, so don’t miss it! And, if Stan Lee snubs you, I promise to give you at least 5 minutes of face time.  It’s the least I can do.

I just completed pencilling, inking AND coloring the first issue of Heretic for Markosia Comics. Heretic is a six-issue miniseries adapted from the novel of the same name by Joseph Nassise. Chuck Satterlee is handling scripting chores. The story revolves around a modern-day Knights Templar order that protects the Vatican (and mankind itself) from evil, supernatural forces. There’s magic, mayhem, zombies, big guns…you know, all the salient features that make life palatable. Leave Civil War alone, and pick up 3 or 4 copies of Heretic. You won’t be sorry. Conversely, if you don’t pick up copies of Heretic, I can make you sorry. Very, very…sorry. The 1st issue should be shipping in mid-February.
