I spent Free Comic Book Day at Krypton Comics in Omaha, and had a blast! The line of people waiting for sketches was out the door the ENTIRE day. It was, by far, the best turnout I’ve seen in the last few years. I was providing free sketches, as were my sketchmates (and fellow Shocktraumanauts) Max Riffner, Rick Hiltbrunner, and Fredd Gorham. Shocktraumanaut Jason Caskey was in attendance as well, talking with fans, and giving out copies of his book Holy Terror. Actress Margot Kidder (Lois Lane from the Superman movies) was also on hand to meet with fans and sign autographs. The event received widespread coverage from print and broadcast media, as well.

I will be at Omaha’s Krypton Comics with my fellow Shocktraumanauts (Fredd Gorham, Max Riffner, Jason Caskey, Rick Hiltbrunner) as well as Pat Cole and Louis Simpson from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 5th. We’ll be providing free sketches for the fans. Don’t miss it! Margot Kidder (Lois Lane from the Christopher Reeves Superman movies) will be signing from 10am-4pm.
