I am a huge fan of TwoMorrows’ The Jack Kirby Collector. I’ve loved Kirby’s work since I was a kid, so it’s always a thrill for me to see the great, raw Kirby pencil art that they showcase in the magazine. I thought it would be fun to take one of Kirby’s unpublished pencils from Thor #167, and ink it up…and I was right – it WAS fun! But what proved to be even MORE fun was having the good folks at TJKC actually PRINT my work in their latest issue, #49! They ran the original pencils and my inked version in a special “Before and After” section of the magazine, and I hope you check it out. It’s on sale now!
